The station broadcasts music in Spanish from various genres, including salsa, merengue, bachata, pop, and reguetón. As part of the expansion, it also airs the #1 morning show in Puerto Rico, “El Despelote” featuring Puerto Rican personalities Rocky the Kid and La Burbu as well as “El Molusco y los Reyes de la Punta” in the ‘afternoon. .
According to El Zol general manager Fernando Bauermeister, the Florida stations will also have DJ Alex Sensation playing the best music and that “both stations have local talent and live 24/7.”

SBS owns a total of 16 stations in markets such as Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Chicago, San Francisco, Puerto Rico, Orlando and Tampa, making it the largest owner of Spanish radio stations in Florida.
The $12.5 million transaction marks the completion of the acquisition of two of the two FM radio stations serving the Orlando and Tampa Bay radio markets from Cox Radio LLC.
The stations are expected to build on SBS’s existing leadership in one of the nation’s largest Hispanic markets and aim to “expand the audio footprint while forging closer ties with the Hispanic community.”
