"SILVER DOME AWARD WINNER"
Sarah Hataula, General Manager of Morgan County Broadcasting, representing WJIL, 1550 AM,
accepts the prestigious Silver Dome Award for
Best Community Service Event presented by the
Illinios Broadcasters Associatioin.
Presenting the award for IBA was Miss Illinois 2008.
The "Treats for Troops" campaign that WJIL has
been involved with over the past few years was
cited as the "best" in small market radio in Illinois.
The Annual IBA Conference was held at the Embassy
Suites Conference Center in Peoria on June 17.

from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday Thru Friday, Beginning
May --, 2009. The Name May be Mentioned During
a Song Request, Weather Forecast, PSA, etc.
Listeners Will Then Have 10 Minutes & 55 Seconds
to Call the Studio (243-1055) and Claim
His/Her Package.
Stimulus Packages Will Consist and/or Prizes Worth
at Least $50. Winners Must Provide Valid Legal
Identification to Claim Their Stimulus Package.
Listeners May Register One (1) Time Per Day on the
Website and One (1) Time at Each Live Remote Location.

Grandstand tickets are $12 and Track
tickets are $15. Tickets may be purchased
at the Jacksonville Area Chamber of Commerce,
A. Gaudio & Sons and WJVO/WJIL.
If you can't get to one of the above locations,
but would like to charge you ticket purchases to
your credit card, call us at WJVO at 245-5119 and
we will process your ticket order and mail the
tickets directly to you!
WJVO is the only location that can process
credit card payments.
