Treats for Troops, a non-profit organization that sends packages to soldiers overseas, was awarded the Freedom Salute Award by the 2nd Battalion, 122nd Field Artillery.  The Freedom Salute Ceremony was held December 5th at the General Jones Armory in Chicago.  Treats for Troops was nominated as an Outstanding Center of Influence for providing numerous care packages to the Traning Assistance Group.  These packages were waiting for the 122nd upon their arrival at Camp Alamo in Afghanistan and provided much needed items for the soldiers.  This prestigious Minuteman Statue was presented to Sarah Hautala of WJIL/WJVO, Jerry Byal, James Blesse and Jimmy Duncan of the American Legion Color Guard.

We Thank All of You For Your Support

of This Wonderful Effort!!!!
